Auriti is a brand new advisory model for the art and design world, with a focus on emerging markets. Auriti consults with art and design collectors, corporates, and museums.
Auriti Advisory believes that research – not commissions – should be the driving incentive for giving advice.
The advisory services provided by Auriti are backed by data from Mexico, Brazil, China, Hong Kong, and across Africa. Portions of the African art market data are being published in the inaugural issue of the Art Africa Collectors’ Report (December 2015).
Auriti is the brainchild of Nick Dreyer. Nick is the former General Manager of the Ellerman House in Cape Town, considered South Africa's leading hotel property. After building the Ellerman House Contemporary in 2009, a purpose-built art gallery curating the 1000+ works in the property's Collection, Nick moved to Johannesburg to become the Director of Everard Read Gallery.
Upon leaving Everard Read, Nick began researching the needs of collectors and museums around Africa, Europe, and the United States. Nick is passionate about encouraging young professionals to consider collecting art and design, and equally motivated to introduce new talent to established entities.
